Gary Farr and His All Star Big Band

In early February 2021, Gary was diagnosed with GBM (a brain tumor). It was surgically removed March 2021 and he was given 6 weeks to 6 months to live. Today a year and half later, he's still kicking and doing gigs. On Dec. 4th, he put the big band together and did a private wedding at Wakulla Springs Lodge. He might not be up to doing a show (just yet) but he is still creative working on music projects.

The band will be performed on New Year's Eve for the Community of Del Webb in Ponte Vedra Florida bringing in 2020!

Gary was music director/conductor for the musical Peter Pan at the Community Christian School in Tallahassee, Fl November 14-16, 2019. The cast was great!

In loving memory of the backbone of our band, original drummer and friend, Tony Lavender. Tony was the first musician Gary called when putting the big band together. Tony lost his battle with cancer in January 2017 and is swingin' away with God and the angels now. He is dearly missed. Tony's music and spirit will live on forever.
